Surgical Masks Prices Increase due to Coronavirus
According to local media reports, in the middle of the outbreak of the Corona virus, Pakistan is out of surgical mask and the cost has been increased by one thousand percent.
According to local media reports, the market lacks surgical masks. A pack of surgical masks are being sold in the market for a thousand rupees as profits have become highly motivated to seize the opportunity.
Two cases of Coronavirus has been reported in Pakistan while the first case of COVID-19 in Karachi has come from a citizen who has returned from Iran along with his family.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Health, Dr. Zafar Mirza, said on Twitter that two cases of Corona virus has been identified in Pakistan.
According to sources, a patient from the port city is being kept in solitary confinement at Aga Khan Hospital while another person suffering from the virus was undergoing treatment at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital, Islamabad.
It has been reported that another patient had traveled via Lahore to enter Islamabad, his family’s test results are negative for the virus.
