2 COVID-19 patients discharged from Quetta hospital after recovering

In Balochistan, the first two patients with coronavirus have been discharged from Sheikh Zayed Hospital after full recovery. There is no new case of covid-19 has been reported in the province for the past two days.

Both COVID-19 patients had been under medical treatment at the Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Quetta

since they were diagnosed with the coronavirus which lives of thousands of people around the world.

Balochistan government spokesman Liaquat Shahwani said here Friday that the two affected patients were admitted to the hospital last week after they allowed doctors to go to their homes after they tested negative for the virus.

According to the spokesperson, the recovered persons included a 45-year-old man and a teenage girl. They both travelled to Iran for pilgrimage and returned to Pakistan through the Taftan border. During Quarantine in Quetta, he tested positive for coronavirus and was admitted to the hospital.

According to officials in the hospital, more than 100 patients have been admitted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital and the majority of them are in stable condition. He said more and more patients would be able to go home soon after recovery.
